Backlinking is crucial to your sites overall visibility and success, but they must be relevant! You can get many low quality websites backlinking into your site, but that ammounts to spamming. Google (TM) and the other search engines are very aware of this, as they should be, and will drop you like a hot brick if you’re an offender. You’ve been warned! Do business honestly and time will will build quality links and a highly valued website.
Backlinking is powerful if both the websites linking to each other are an authority on the given subject, this is seen as a huge positive by the search engines if done correctly and can only be good for your page ranking, quality score and overall website strategy.
